Great breakfast/tea room ! Delicious and great service. One of the workers spilled a little bit of coffee out of the mug and the owner came and offered another coffee on the house just because of the presentation :)

Worth the Trip from Oxford – A True Scottish Breakfast Gem! I came all the way from Oxford after a friend highly recommended Old Woods Cafe, and I can confidently say – it was 100% worth it! I ordered the Full Scottish Breakfast (£12.95), and it was absolutely spot-on. Every item on the plate was perfectly cooked — the sausage, black pudding, hash browns, eggs, and even the toast were fresh, flavourful, and satisfying. It’s the kind of breakfast that fills you up and leaves you smiling. What made the experience even better was the warm and friendly staff who made me feel genuinely welcome. The place is also incredibly clean and well-maintained, which adds a lot of comfort when you’re dining out. For the quality, the portion size, and the great service, the price is more than reasonable. If you’re ever in the area — or even if you’re not — this place is worth the journey. I’m so glad I took the recommendation. You won’t regret it either!

This little cafe was AMAZING!!! Staff was very friendly, the options for the food were very diverse, and a lot of vegetarian/vegan options to choose from. The food presentation and quality was exceptional! And the atmosphere was super good too. Another thing I’ll add is that their toilet was really clean and smelled nice.

Hiked Salisbury Crags and walked over to this neighborhood in search of a quick bite. They quickly made a table for 5 and sat us outside. They warned us that the bees loved the food and offered to move us inside if we wanted but the little patio with a view of the mountain was lovely. Service was amazing and so many choices to eat!

The food and coffee is great, I ordered the salmon avocado poached egg and it was quite nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I would definitely come back

Gt find after coming down from Arthur’s Seat. Friendly, good food, lovely gluten free cake. Toilet clean. Lovely view from the window.
